Keratin Treatment (Brazilian Straightening)

Why Do Keratin Treatment -Keratin is a natural protein that is in our hair and its level decreases with age and/or a poor diet?  The Keratin treatment adds a coating of keratin onto the hair shaft giving it nutrients that leave hair silky, smooth and straight. The treatment is among the safer hair straightening techniques and is very less damaging to hair. Hair grows back into its original structure gradually and the treatment can be done repeatedly without worrying about damaging hair.

Process-  The stylist applies keratin solution to hair and a 450-degree flat iron is used to seal in the formula to hair strands, creating a moisture barrier that reduces frizz by 95% and gives hair a shiny finish due to added protein. The process breaks the bond in hair and the gaps in the bonds are filled with ‘keratin’.  The process increases the hair volume and makes your hair heavier. Hair also gets pulled down making your hair appear straighter.

Japanese Straightening (Thermal Reconditioning)

Why  – Japanese Straightening provides permanent alteration in the structure of the hair.  The cysteine protein bond of hair gets loosened and is reshaped by the straightening of hair cells.

Process-   The method uses various steps that vary with the length and texture of your hair.  First Chemical is applied for about 15 to 20 mins to break the bonds of the hair. After this the hair is subjected to extreme heat to restructure the bonds into a straight type. To lock in the bonds and protect the hair, this is then again treated with chemicals. You also will need a follow-up session after three days of the treatment. You need to have the right hair type for this to work effectively.

Why  –  The process helps if you have problems of a wavy, dense or “large” hair. Rebonded hair will keep its fluency for a lengthy period. Rebonding makes hair straight, shiny and sleek.

Process- The cream softener used in the rebounding treatment breaks the natural hair structure. Then a neutralizer is used that bonds the hair structure again and makes hair straight. The rebounding treatment changes your natural hair structure, breaks the bonds in natural hair and  goes to a much deeper level, thereby altering their natural form of hair and straightening it

Hot Iron Straightening [Temporary with Heat]

Why  –

Process- First hair is Cleaned with Shampoo and then conditioned followed by washing with cold water to lock the moisture. Dry hair is toweled and hair serum or heat protectant is applied and hair will be combed thoroughly. Hair is detangled from the end with a wide-tooth comb or with a paddle brush and going up till the roots. Once the hair is cooled down completely, hair serum is applied to give extra shine

Process-  Simple hair straightening process with a heat straightening comb and hair is combed. Heat protectant is used to protect your hair from the harmful heat to avoid damaging hair.

Blow Dry- [Temporary with Heat]

Why – v straight, voluminous and bouncy hair. it does not give direct heat to your hair.

Process – First hair is Cleaned with Shampoo and then conditioned followed by washing with cold water to lock the moisture. Dry hair is toweled and hair serum or heat protectant is applied and hair will be combed thoroughly. Hair is detangled from the end with a wide-tooth comb or with a paddle brush and going up till the roots. The hair is allowed to cooled down completely. After this, a roller brush or paddle brush is used for straightening. hair serum is applied to give extra shine.
